Hello Warwick Valley Community Center Family!
It is that time of year when we call on our family here at the Center to come out and help us fulfill our obligations and volunteer for Applefest Parking duty.
- We know it is a busy time for everyone and not everyone loves the crowds, but we must rely on you all to help the Bandwagon Family.
As you all know this is our Big Fundraiser.
Applefest is a partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and the Center and although it may inconvenience some it is a great boost for our local economy.
We here at the Center rely on the Applefest to provide a large part of our Operating budget for the coming year. This is why we rely on you all to give us a small amount of your time and sign up for parking duty. We ask that you also share this and have your classes and customers help as well. It is the only way we can keep our rents low and keep our doors open.
Also, the hours count as much needed Community service hours for those in the WVCSD High School, Middle School, and for religious obligations.
We have other opportunities on the days before and after Applefest with set-up and clean-up, and inside the Festival area on the day of. If you are interested in those as well, please reach out to me directly and I will be happy to get you signed up for those.
